Great book I liked the way he explains how to pay it forward so true in business and in life !
The author, Erik Qualman, joined our book club mailing list 7 years ago. He never attended any meetings, but he made sure to spam the mailing list with news of his books, which we had no interest in reading. Emails to Erik asking to be removed from his mailing list have been ignored.

Before buying this book, ask yourselves if you want to take sales advice from a man who thinks spam is an effective marketing tactic.
I was pleased to see that I am already doing most of what is recommended. I walked away with a couple items to add to my never-ending to-do list. I like how simple and clear the instructions are. That makes it easy to implement.
Definitely a helpful, insightful, and quick read. It's easy to lose touch with your digital business card, especially if you've been with a job or company for a number of years. This easy read helps anyone get their profile back up to speed and ready to tackle another opportunity.
This book was an easy-to-read, comprehensive experience that has ultimately transformed the way I think about my business persona. I find it unique that a novel on a mundane topic such as media presence was as interesting and honestly helpful as this one. For example, I had no idea how crucial it was to upload a likable profile photo, strengthen my network through connections, and create an honest, dare I say fun summary that actually reflects who I am as a professional. It included an example for every idea and thorough explanations following every piece of advice. Honestly, after reading this, I think if my LinkedIn profile had the ability to thank me, it would.
I cannot offer an honest opinion as of yet, because I have yet to get started reading this book. I bought this book for a course that I am taking, but on a professional note, I hope that it help me improve.
Applying Erik Qualman's 30 tips definitely enhanced my effectiveness on LinkedIn. The book is crisp, concise and easy to read and understand. The tips are numbered 1-30 in the table of contents, making it a quick go-to reference tool. I recommend it.
